Fleur-de-lis Parlour
( means flower of the Lily )
The Fleur-de-lis is a symbol of perfection, light and life used by the French and English royalty and helped to inspire this variation of my Parlour model.
The large sound holes in the upper bout allowed the sound to ring out with a piano-like clearness that I have never come across before in a Resonator Guitar. When Philip commissioned his dream guitar for his upcoming retirement he asked, ” Can you you set it up for playing in open C as that’s the only key I can sing in. Lol ” So this guitar has been strung with 16-59 gauge strings and a low action to suit his style of playing.
